Oct 31: Please respond to the Holiday Stroll Survey by October 31, 2024. All current members will be noted on the event map. Participating members will be annotated to indicate special offers, activities, or events.
Dec 2: Wreaths will be delivered to members who signed up for the wreath decorating contest.
Dec 2 - 6: Drop off individual gift baskets and/or items for the group gift basket at Great Spaces, 245 Arlington Street. Baskets & items can be dropped off in the foyer day or night, or can be dropped off inside 9 - 4 weekdays.
Dec 7: Holiday Stroll from 11 AM - 4:15 PM concluding with Tree Lighting at 4:30 PM. Raffle baskets winners will be drawn at 4:00 PM.
Nov 1 - Dec 7: Share information about the Holiday Stroll with customers in person and online.

Get involved in the community and participate in one or more of these beloved Stroll activities. To participate, you must fill out the Holiday Stroll Survey by October 31, 2024.

• Wreath Decorating Contest: WAVMA will provide a wreath for each business that wants to participate. Decorate your wreath and display it for judging by attendees as they make their way through the village.

• The Village Hunt: Participating businesses will stamp attendee maps/cards to prove they’ve visited businesses throughout the village. Attendees with 5+ stamps can use their card to enter a drawing to win $50. There will be 3 winners. Cards must be turned in at West Acton Baptist Church by 4:00 PM. This information will also be printed on the event map/card.

• Raffle: Gift baskets will be raffled off and the the money raised from ticket sales will be donated to The Acton Food Pantry. The raffle takes place at West Acton Baptist Church. Raffle tickets are 1 for $2, 12 for $10, and 25 for $20. Winners will be drawn at 4:00 PM.

  • Individual Gift Basket: Each member is invited to donate a gift basket for the raffle. The suggested retail value is $50 - $200 per basket.
    Baskets can be dropped of at a location TBD from December 2 - 6 2024.
    Please include an itemized list of enclosed items with total dollar value with your basket.

  • Group Gift Basket: Each member is asked to donate an item or gift card for the group gift basket that will be raffled off with all of the other gift baskets. The suggested retail value is $10 - $25.
    Items/gift cards can be dropped of at a location TBD from December 2 - 6, 2024.

• Tree Lighting: The tree lighting will take place at 4:30 PM at 577 Mass Ave.

We suggest businesses promote fun activities, special offers/freebies, or host a larger event. These will be noted on the Holiday Stroll event map to encourage visitors to make their way through the village to each of the actively participating businesses. To participate, you must fill out the Holiday Stroll Survey by October 31, 2024.

• Special Offer: This could be a discount on specific items or store-wide during the Holiday Stroll, a coupon for future use, or a BOGO-style offer.

• Activity: This could include anything from face painting to free samples.

• Event: Examples may include hiring a petting zoo or having a performance at a designated time.

Other activities will be added to this space as they are confirmed.
